About Clara
While I love learning, I love teaching even more. I am passionate about education and want students to learn in a way that feels most comfortable and successful for them. I am studying to become an elementary educator from kindergarten-6th grade and have experience working with children ages 5-12. As for me, I live in Utah and love mountains with skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. I have two dogs and a cat and dream of having my own farm one day! I hope we can get connected and I can help guide students to their goals!

I start with a baseline to assess knowledge. From there, we build each session while practicing what we have already learned. A typical lesson will look like; a review of last week, assessing if the student needs any immediate help for a class/test, an introduction of the topic, and guided practice. It is important the bulk of time is spent with guided practice with the goal being the student independently practicing by the end.
I love children and learning and I would like to get to know specific students as well as what learning style works best for them!
