About Bahja
I’m a college student at Loyola University Chicago studying public health on the pre-med track. I have extensive experience teaching English comprehension, math, and Arabic reading and writing. I’ve had the joy of guiding multiple children through reading their very first words, and I bring patience, clarity, and encouragement to every lesson—helping students build strong foundations and confidence across subjects.

My approach starts with simple testing tools to find out where each student needs the most support. I move at the student’s pace and focus on building confidence along the way. I have strong experience helping younger students reach their reading goals, and I also support older students with crafting well-structured essays, improving their writing style, and developing strong, clear prose. I adapt my lessons to fit any age or level—from early readers to older students needing help with writing and comprehension.
