About Monica
I am a current college student at the University of Oregon, double majoring in Spanish and Multidisciplinary Sciences. I love working with people and engaging with the community in Eugene. Growing up in Minnesota, I love to explore the nature around Oregon and experience new things in Eugene such as all the markets. English is my first language, but I grew up speaking Spanish at a Spanish immersion school starting in preschool. I have traveled to many Spanish-speaking countries where I immersed myself into the culture and interacted with locals. Traveling helped solidify my Spanish fluency, and grew my passion to teach others Spanish.

I create engaging and memorable Spanish lessons that kids will look forward to. Using word games and songs, kids can pick up new words quickly while having fun. Practicing one-on-one conversation develops speaking and listening skills to practice real-world interactions. Growing up learning Spanish my whole life, I know what sticks and works for kids' minds.
