About
My name is Amerie Mills, and I’m a college student majoring in biomedical sciences on the pre-med track, hoping to go to medical school to become a surgeon. I’m also a college athlete (soccer), so I’ve learned how to manage my time, stay disciplined, and handle challenges head-on—skills I bring to my tutoring sessions. I’ve always enjoyed learning and helping others understand tough concepts. My approach is flexible because I know everyone learns differently. I focus on breaking down key ideas, solving a variety of problems together, and figuring out where things might not click so we can tackle it head-on. Outside of school, I’ve studied French for seven years, love to cook and bake, and I’m slightly obsessed with Netflix (right now, it’s Designated Survivor). I’m also a big dog person and can’t wait to have one of my own. I’m here to make learning less stressful, more engaging, and help you feel confident in what you’re doing.

In my tutoring sessions, I strive to tailor my approach to each student’s unique learning style. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adjust my teaching methods to fit their needs.
