About Grace
My name is Grace Anderson and I am a junior in college. I enjoy getting to know those I tutor on a personal level so that I can know how to best fit their educational needs. I like to take step by step approaches to learning. I do not like to pass up a concept until I am sure that the student understands the concept. I prefer to teach using a hands-on learning approach where I come along side the student as they do the work themselves. I do my best to be patient and encouraging because each person learns differently and at different paces. I am willing to change up methods as needed to give students the best learning experience possible.

I teach using creative methods that work specifically for the student. This way the student can learn in a way that sticks with them. English is an important skill that should be acquired for job applications and everyday written speech. Grammar is important to sound professional and educated in all capacities, and communication skills are an essential in today's world. I can teach elementary level to late high school level English and grammar. I can teach from how to read and write short paragraphs to essays and argumentative papers. I would typically help the student to understand the course already in progress under the instructions they are given and to coach them through the class to have the best performance outcome.
