About Nicole
I am currently in my last year of school and will graduate in Spring 2024 with a degree in Secondary Education: Math 7-12. I love helping students understand math and finding new ways to relate the material to the real world. I have worked in the math tutoring center at my college campus, and I have helped several students with their homework questions and test reviews. Additionally, I spent this past semester student teaching in a high school setting where I taught in Algebra I classes and assisted both Algebra II and Geometry teachers. I enjoy working with students and look forward to helping more students understand mathematics.

Hello! My name is Nicole, and I am currently studying to be a high school math teacher at Dallas Baptist University. I have been working in the math tutoring center on campus for about a year, and I have lots of experience working with students for Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. Something that sets me apart as a tutor is I am really creative and try to find ways to make the content relevant to the student's life by using real world examples. Along with my creativity, I am also very dedicated and flexible to helping a student understand the material. I am always discovering new ways to solve problems, and I won't stop until we find a way to make the math make sense.
I am looking to help students with Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry.
