About Carter
Like in the high school mathematics classroom, I am committed to providing a safe online learning environment for tutoring in a professional manner. Of all the clients I have tutored in-person apart from superprof, the main two principles that have guided my tutoring sessions are a professionally appropriate environment (safety, few distractions, and comfortability for the student - for example, tutoring in the college library that the student attended) and forward progress (guaranteeing meaning and success in the session). As with every one of my students, I care deeply that mathematical content as well as knowledge, skills, and procedures are developed and/or improved! My belief is that every person is capable of learning mathematics, and I'm sticking to that belief! You cannot prove me wrong!

Tutoring with Carter When you choose to be tutored by me, I make it a priority to figure out what you do and do not understand when beginning a session. Whether it is for an assignment or learning or reviewing a concept, skill, or procedure, my aim is to provide the appropriate depth of explanation through conversing, showing, and working step-by-step alongside the tutee! I am willing to assist any student up through a Master's program in the field of mathematics. I would say anything Calculus 3 and below would be among my most comfortable mathematics subjects, but I am always up for the challenge!

Carter is a great tutor, he's flexible with his schedule and uses his experience as a teacher to aid in his tutoring. He's also very knowledgeable being able to help me with all of my calculus classes as well as differential equations.
Carter has been an excellent math tutor for my 12 year son. He’s able to relate the math to my son’s real life interests to keep him engaged in lessons. My son started out with a LOW F in math in the beginning of school year. After tutoring sessions with Carter he was able to bring his grade up to a high C. It is now the second grading period and my son has an A in math. Carter is also willing to travel a reasonable distance and charges reasonable rates for tutoring. I’d recommend Carter as a math tutor to everyone!!
