About Jordan
I am a dedicated teacher with a strong background in college-level mathematics and science. I am committed to helping students achieve a deep and lasting understanding of challenging material. My experience working with students at different levels has taught me how to adapt explanations to meet individual learning styles while maintaining a clear and structured approach.
I emphasize precision, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, ensuring that students understand the process to arrive at a solution. My sessions are organized, goal-oriented, and tailored to each student’s academic needs.

My approach to tutoring is to build the foundations in subject comprehension by utilizing our physical intuitions. I know I've done a good job when a student has a gut feeling for how and why the solution to a science or math problem is the way it is.
I tailor my tutoring lessons to meet a student at their current level.
In my experience, a student struggles when they internalize that they are unable to "get" math or science. I strongly believe any student can learn any subject matter as long as they are encouraged correctly and met where they are at.
My experience of teaching ranges from Algebra to Calculus level Physics.
