About Helen
Greeting Students,
My name is Helen. I am excited to meet you and look forward to the opportunity to tutor in math (Algebra) or computer science subjects. I have devised some "tricks" to help you learn the subject well and soon diminish the "fear" of math, gain a better understanding of how this is applicable to our daily lives.
A fun fact: Algebra was not my favorite subject during school days, however many years later, I have taught Algebra to college students. The adage, "practice makes perfect" applies and is the golden rule!

As a tutor, I welcome all students of all class levels and prefer student- centered learning either individually or in a small group, preferably 2-3 people group. This allows me to interact with students on a personal basis and create interactive lectures tailoring to student's specific needs.
Students, as we delve into the subject, I will provide helpful tips to solve problems by showing and explaining many examples from a textbook. So, let's explore the fascinating world of Algebra together!
