About Keith

I am currently working on my second bachelors degree of science, the first one is in biological sciences (with a concentration in pre-health professions and a minor in psychology) and my current one is in nursing. I currently work as an orthopedic L.P.N. nurse part time while I am in school. I have a handful of years of experience in healthcare and have made a point to learn as much as I can about the industry. I am very welcoming of all walks of life and backgrounds, and love meeting new people to learn more about the world. I am very goal oriented and can maintain focus on tasks very diligently. I feel that I come off as warm and welcoming in general and hardly take confrontation personally. I find it very rewarding to help others, whether that be in my nursing career or in my educational career, and take pride in my ability to help people reach their goals.

About the lesson

I have not professionally tutored before but I have tutored classmates and peers along my educational career. My teaching style accommodates to what best suits you as the learner. I like to work with you to establish expected outcomes of the tutoring sessions, and adjust my teaching methods to the desired goals. I can teach information in quick and concise manners, and I can teach in slow and methodic ways to truly understand the material. I myself am a visual learner and can create imagery to complement written lessons to aid in better understanding concepts. My expertise is in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, biology, chemistry, etc. (Human sciences as a whole) at the collegiate level. However, I can also help high school students in any science/math course who need help grasping the material. I also do not mind sharing my personal path through college and can help guide you along pre-professional tracks of education (pre-medicine, pre-nursing, etc.). I welcome all feedback as I see my tutoring ability as a metric for self improvement.
