I've worked with many people to help with their understanding of varying topics. Obviously, walking someone through a question in the moment is helpful, but I believe firmly grasping the application of a concept is far better than committing certain tricks and rules to memory.

I love catering teaching to the individual, I've learned that there clearly isn't one way to learn and the most important thing is knowing how to effectively convey a message to a learner. Math is something that is used in everyday life all the time so I find that if I'm able to relate subject matter to familiar environments, people tend to pick things up easier. I've helped people from my nephew (5 years old) to my Sister-in-Law (26 years old) so varying topics and learning styles are welcome.
