About Kaylee
Hello! I am a college student with a major in English and a concentration in Secondary Education. I have been given the opportunity to be a Teacher Aide through my school's Teacher Preparation Program, while I am working toward my Teaching Credential. As a Teacher Aide, I observed English classes and assisted the teacher in leading discussions, specifically in a classroom full of Accelerated Language Arts students.

As an aspiring English Teacher, I desire to help students grow academically and lead them in their academic struggles. My approach to tutoring students comes with a lot of patience and understanding. I first want to meet them in what their academic struggles are. From there, I acknowledge their abilities and strengths to affirm them that they are capable of accomplishing their academic goals. I am able to understand how students best learn, which will help me better cater to their academic and learning needs. By the end of the tutoring, my hope is that students will be more confident about what they are learning in school.
