I am student at the University of Tampa, working hard to achieve my Bachelors of Science in Secondary English Education, with a minor in History. I’ve volunteered to teach children to read in the past, and I’ve dedicated a lot of time to learning as much as I can in an effort to become the best teacher I can be.

I think that cooperative learning is crucial in any educational context. Learning to work with others is an important life skill that I value deeply. Also, I value teaching students confidence in their abilities. Before teaching anything, it is crucial for a teacher to let their students know that failure is not only okay, but it is encouraged. Failure is what comes before success.
