About Ryan
Getting through biology can be intimidating with the terminologies and concepts. I focus on high school and college-level biology courses, including Fundamental Biology, Cell Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Genetics, and Medical Ethics. I can help clarify complex concepts and incorporate real-life examples. I am a strong believer in helping students reach new potentials through motivation and guidance. I have motivated 9th graders to pursue their dreams of becoming healthcare professionals and college seniors to become veterinarians. I don’t lead by pulling you up to the next level, but rather through support and elevation.

Hello! I’m Ryan. I have over a decade of teaching on both high school and collegiate levels in biology. I obtained my BS in Biology with a concentration of Physiology-Neurobiology from the University of Maryland, a MS in Health Care Administration from Capella University and am completing my doctorate in Health Care Administration with emphasis on Healthcare Leadership.
My goal is to provide a simplified, relatable understanding to your complex topics. I like to tailor my lessons to the individual needs of my students. If you’re a visual learner who benefits from diagrams, charts, mnemonics or a hands-on person who favors interactive activities, I will hold engaging conversations to match your academic needs.
