About Cynthia
I am Damien, currently a student at The Sixth Form College Farnborough, and I want to tutor to give GCSE students a genuine glimpse of hope for their academic future. Because of my own unorthodox journey, I truly understand the stress, panic, and pressure of sitting at the bottom of the grade boundaries. Teaching allows me to connect deeply with students who feel left behind, while simultaneously helping me gain invaluable, hands-on leadership experience.

My GCSE journey started with a massive disadvantage. Transportation issues abroad forced me to completely miss Year 9, and I only attended Year 10 for four months. Unsurprisingly, my Year 11 predictions were devastating: straight 3s and 4s. I felt completely left behind. Instead of giving up, I locked in. I overhauled my mindset, mastered exam techniques, and pushed my creative limits. Against all odds, I transformed those failing predictions into 6s, 7s, and an 8 in Art.
