About Nathan
I have taught university level composition writing for 20+ years and have written and published my poetry. I am passionate about teaching writing and literature and view writing as a process oriented activity, rather than a product oriented task. I am familiar with professional, academic, and artistic standards and can help you achieve the voice as well as the skills to excel in your field.

I use an experiential approach and maintain that writing is a practical skill that must be used and developed every day, and that revision plays a vital role in writing excellence. I use form to teach purpose of writing and try to make writing fun, whether the assignment is empirical research or a villanelle.

$20 per hour individual session (you choose the focus out of the following topics: Poetry Composition, Scientific Writing, Behavioral Health Documentation, Technical Writing, Essay Writing Basics) or $200 for a course of six 2-hour weekly sessions.
First free lesson includes an assessment of your writing goals and strengths.
