About James
My name is James from Nova Scotia, Canada. I have been successfully employed in the International Education field for the past 13 years, 10 years of which consisted of a Directorial/Principal position, also as an international director and curriculum developer in Seoul, South Korea and more recently a Director of English Language Programs for two Montessori schools in Beijing, China. Through various work experiences, I have personally gained experience on a higher executive level.
I have co-founded a school from the ground up with a colleague of mine in Toronto, Canada. As the organization or teams grow, I review where we are in terms of the business development and provide solutions on how to proceed and grow even further. I have taken on many examples of this in previous school, where I have added entirely programs (I.E. English for Aviation, English for Dentistry, and Examination preparation programs to accommodate the needs of our growing student population. This also required the hiring and training of new teachers. I have worked with teams as small as 7, to a full school team of 30.
Meeting new people and new situations gives me great satisfaction and I always seem to rise to the occasion of new challenges when required. In the past I have achieved great success in the hotel industry, customer service sector, and in the education field.
I now welcome the idea of new challenges and working as a teaching assistant. I am confident, that with my enthusiasm, history, education and zest for new challenges, I would be a great candidate for your company.
