About AMEET
Hello, and welcome. I am a dedicated and patient private chess tutor with a genuine passion for helping students learn, grow, and enjoy the game of chess. I take a professional yet friendly approach to every lesson, ensuring that students feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to improve. My experience as a chess coach has taught me the importance of adapting lessons to each child’s pace, learning style, and ability level. I focus on building strong foundations, encouraging logical thinking, and helping students develop confidence through consistent progress. I teach in both English and Afrikaans, allowing me to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of students. While I specialize in beginner and intermediate levels, I take pride in creating engaging, structured, and enjoyable private lessons that help students improve steadily while developing valuable thinking skills that extend beyond the chessboard.
