About Jason
I earned my M.S. in Chemistry at Stanford but spent two years as a TA in both chemistry and physics labs. Each physics session begins with a quick diagnostic to identify misconceptions—like confusing velocity and acceleration—followed by a concise review of the relevant theory (classical mechanics, electromagnetism, or thermodynamics). We then solve guided problems together, focusing on interpreting problem statements correctly. I use digital whiteboards to draw diagrams and annotate key steps. For reinforcement, I assign mini-projects—such as analyzing the trajectory of a thrown ball using basic kinematic formulas. Perfect for AP Physics and first-year college courses.
