About Stefan
I'm Stefan, a recent graduate of Classics at the University of Cambridge. I had a great time there and have now moved on to do a Master's at KCL and Sciences Po in European Studies. I'm eager to tutor any GCSE/A-level students or anyone wanting to develop their Latin skills! Although I'm new to tutoring, I have a proven record of competence in Latin, having achieved a First in each year in Latin at Cambridge. I want to create a learning plan to fit your requirements and for that I think it's vital that we work together. In a trial lesson, you can get to know me and I can diagnose your current levels of grammar and vocabulary (and also Sprachgefühl – a vital part, in my view, of Latin comprehension!)

- I have a wealth of knowledge in Latin (attaining a First in every Latin exam I took at Cambridge - Although I am new to tutoring, I have an existing knowledge of the specifications of Latin exams offered in this country (whether OCR GCSE, Cambridge CIE IGCSE Latin or OCR AS/A Level Latin). - Although I am used to a rigorous approach mainly centred around traditional didactic methods (such as drilling, which I do believe is valuable for a subject such as Latin), I know this is a co-operative process and I am happy to seek an alternative method - I am familiar with natural method teaching (such as Orberg's Lingua Latina and would be thrilled to create a guided course of that) Please contact me with any questions! I am more than happy to do a trial lesson at half-price. My price is reflective of the fact that I am not an existing tutor and, thus, want to build up my experience.
