About Brendan
Hello! I'm Brendan Lawless, a classical guitar teacher passionate about sharing the beauty and depth of this timeless instrument with learners of all ages.
With Grade 8 certificates from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) in both Music Performance and Music Theory, I bring over 20 years of playing experience to every lesson. My teaching philosophy emphasises good habits from day one, clear explanations, positive encouragement, and celebrating progress to build confidence and a lifelong love for classical guitar.

I offer engaging 1-on-1 30 minute lessons focused on classical guitar fundamentals, technique refinement, note-reading, musical expression, and building a solid repertoire. Whether you're a complete beginner picking up the guitar for the first time or an intermediate player ready to tackle pieces by Bach, Sor, Tárrega, or beyond, my classes are tailored to your goals, pace and interest.
