About Arthur
I have got a 1st Class Physics degree from Swansea University. I have done the first term of PGCE in secondary mathematics, but never made it the whole way through the course. I currently work an office job as a Financial Advisory Department Administrative Assistant, and I do private tuition in my local area for GCSE maths. I love doing private tuition and am hoping to do more of it and one day eventually do it full time if i can get enough demand.

I am practical in my approach and gauge it on the students ability. I never criticise mistakes, as I always think it something the pupil can learn from. I always try to push pupils a little, whilst ensuring not to knock their confidence, as many times maintaining a pupils confidence is the key to keeping them motivated in the learning of mathematics. I am a kind and empathetic person, who always wants to see the best in pupils. I try to articulate my own thinking during explanations in order to help the pupil understand good mathematical thought processes.
