About Anna
I am an organised, determined, and enthusiastic individual who is studying Civil and Architectural Engineering at Bath University. My experience in a school and as a sailing instructor and hockey coach has helped me to express my love for each subject and activity. Teaching and encouraging children to explore challenging subjects is incredibly rewarding. I can guide them through complex topics with patience and enthusiasm.
I have taught GCSE mathematics to several students on a one-to-one basis. I provided tailored lesson plans to meet the individual student’s learning needs, covering various topics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry and statistics.
I was a teaching assistant at a local primary school and assisted in sports for all year groups. I am enthusiastic, energetic and patient throughout the day and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the children, parents and teachers. I am creative in finding ways to keep children focused, particularly when they find the subject matter difficult.
