As a Civil Engineering graduate from UNISA, I bring both academic knowledge and real-world experience to my math tutoring. My approach is student-centered, focusing on building strong foundational understanding and boosting confidence in problem-solving. I break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and use practical examples to help students see the relevance of what they’re learning.
My lessons typically run for 60 minutes and are tailored to suit each learner’s pace and learning style. I use a mix of explanation, guided practice, and interactive exercises to keep students engaged. I also encourage regular revision and practice to reinforce concepts.
I have experience helping high school learners (Grades 8–12), especially those preparing for exams or needing support in core topics like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. My lessons are ideal for students who want to improve their marks, build confidence in math, or get ready for university-level studies.
