About Bryan

I am a qualified Civil & Structural Engineering professional with a BEng in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Civil & Structural Engineering. My academic and professional background has given me a strong understanding of Mathematics, Physics and problem-solving, which I bring into every lesson.

I am patient, approachable and committed to helping students reach their full potential. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to identify areas where they need support and adapt my teaching accordingly.

My aim is not only to help students achieve better grades, but also to develop their confidence, logical thinking and ability to solve problems independently. I create a supportive learning environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes and learn without feeling pressured.

Whether you are preparing for GCSE or A Level examinations, catching up on difficult topics or aiming for higher grades, I will provide structured and personalised support based on your individual needs.

With my engineering background and practical experience, I can also show students how the Mathematics and Physics they learn are applied to real-world engineering and everyday problems.

About the lesson

I am a Civil & Structural Engineering graduate with an MSc and BEng in Civil Engineering, with professional experience applying mathematics, physics and engineering principles in real-world situations. I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts and build the confidence to solve problems independently.

My teaching approach is friendly, patient and practical. Rather than simply giving students formulae to memorise, I explain the reasoning behind each concept and use clear, step-by-step examples to show how it works. I adapt my lessons to each student's learning style, strengths and areas that need improvement.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes and can include explanation of new topics, worked examples, exam-style questions, revision and targeted practice. I also help students identify common mistakes and develop effective problem-solving and exam techniques.

I teach Maths and Physics to students from KS3 through GCSE and A Level. Whether you are struggling with a particular topic, preparing for exams, or looking to improve your grades and confidence, I can tailor lessons to your individual goals.

My engineering background allows me to bring real-world examples into lessons, helping students see how the Maths and Physics they learn in school are applied beyond the classroom.

I aim to make every lesson engaging, understandable and focused on measurable progress.
