About Sunil
Hi! I’m Sunil Dahal, a Civil Engineering graduate currently living in Christchurch. Teaching has always been something I enjoy—I love breaking down complex ideas and helping students feel confident in subjects like Math and Physics. I spent two years teaching up to 12th grade students at a local school in my hometown, and it was incredibly rewarding to see them grow and succeed. Now, I want to continue sharing my knowledge and support students here in New Zealand. I believe that with the right guidance and a bit of encouragement, every student can do well—and I’m here to help make that happen.

My approach to tutoring is student-focused, aiming to build strong foundational understanding through clear explanations, real-life examples, and interactive problem-solving. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace and needs, making lessons engaging and easy to follow.
A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, during which I focus on both theory and application, ensuring the student gains confidence in the subject.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and have 2 years of experience teaching students up to the 12th grade at a local school in my hometown. I specialize in tutoring high school students (NCEA Level 1–3) in Maths and Physics.
Whether a student is struggling or aiming to excel, my goal is to make learning enjoyable and effective.
