Hello! I’m a Civil Engineering graduate and a passionate math tutor. I will help you build confidence, strengthen your skills, and truly understand the concepts behind the problems — not just memorize formulas. I work with students from upper elementary through early college, covering Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and more. About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is structured, patient, and focused on deep understanding rather than memorization. With a background in Civil Engineering, I emphasize logical thinking and analytical problem-solving, helping students understand not just how to solve a problem, but why it works.

I break complex topics into clear, manageable steps and adapt my explanations to each student’s learning style. I identify and strengthen gaps in foundational knowledge before progressing. Guided practice, active questioning, and real-world examples are key parts of my teaching. I also encourage students to explain concepts in their own words to reinforce mastery.

Lessons usually begin with a brief review, followed by a focused explanation of new material with worked examples. We then solve progressively challenging problems together before moving to independent practice. Sessions conclude with a summary and strategy tips for homework or exams.
