About Abraham
I come from a family of teachers. When I was in college my sister asked me to do her a favor and tutor her student in math. It must have worked out well that she sent some more students my way which I didn't intend to do. I have a total of 6+ years of tutoring and have had repeat students. One of the joys in my experience has been when I tutored a couple high school basketball players. They raised their scores passed their last math classes and made it to college to play in the NCAA. It felt great to be a small part of that.

I like to connect with students in a personable way and make the subject matter practical. Sometimes math is just seeing the relevance to normal life. I use plenty of examples as we go through our lessons. I like to start out to know the level the student is and build from there. If it is high level we jump right into subject matter. If it is lower level we take some time with the base and build from there.
