Price, Payment and Cancellation Policy

Price.
SATS, GCSEs, A Levels, BTEC & Foundation - Mathematics:
An individual lesson of 1 hour - £40
Lesson Pack of 5 hours - £200
Lesson Pack of 10 hours - £400

Year 1 of Civil Engineering Undergraduate Modules:
An individual lesson of 1 hour - £50
Lesson Pack of 5 hours - £250
Lesson Pack of 10 hours - £500

Year 2 of Civil Engineering Undergraduate Modules:
An individual lesson of 1 hour - £60
Lesson Pack of 5 hours - £300
Lesson Pack of 10 hours - £600

Year 3 of Civil Engineering Undergraduate Modules:
An individual lesson of 1 hour - £70
Lesson Pack of 5 hours - £350
Lesson Pack of 10 hours - £700

Coursework, Assignments, Labs, Dissertation: Price may differ.

Payment.
All payment must be made 5 working days before the scheduled individual lesson or the first scheduled lesson from the lesson pack.

Failure to make the payment 5 working days before the scheduled individual lesson or the first scheduled lesson from the lesson pack, will result in a cancellation of the scheduled lesson or all scheduled lessons from the lesson pack, on the 6th working day.

Cancellation of Lessons by the Tutor.
The Tutor may cancel lessons with at least 24 hours prior notice to the Student. Fees will not be refunded. In such cases, the Tutor will reschedule the lesson.

If the Tutor cancels a lesson with less than 24 hours’ notice, the Student can request a refund for that lesson if pre-paid, if the lesson is not rescheduled.

The Tutor is responsible for reimbursement of all fees due to the Student if they can no longer provide the pre-paid lesson(s).

Cancellation of Lessons by the Student.
The Student may cancel lessons by giving at least 24 hours prior notice to the Tutor. Fees will not be refunded, however, the session(s) can be rescheduled.

If the Student cancels a lesson with less than 24 hours’ notice, the Student cannot request a refund if pre-paid and will not be able to reschedule the cancelled lesson.

If lessons are pre-paid, and the tutoring agreement assumes that the Student will attend all lessons as stipulated in the schedule, then no discount or refunds shall be given in respect of lessons not attended by the Student.

Late Arrival.
Fees are calculated on an hourly basis by the Tutor according to the times stipulated in the tutoring agreement. In the case that a student arrives late for lessons, no adjustment to fees shall be made for time lost.

In the case of late arrival by the Tutor, the Student shall be compensated by a lesson extension until the lost time is accounted for. This time shall be added to the lesson in question or carried over to the next lesson, as agreed in advance by both parties.

Purchase of the first free lesson and any future lesson(s) is acceptance of the Price, Payment and Cancellation Policy.
