About Siu Kei
Graduated from Imperial College London studying Civil and Environmental Engineering (MEng). Subsequently, worked for one of the Big 3 Civil Engineering firms for the past 3 years. Currently, in the middle of changing to Computing industry and in the process of self studying for application to Coding Bootcamps.
Prior to University, have been top 3 in my year group and have achieved:
-A* in Further Mathematics (A level),
-A* in Mathematics (A level),
-A in Physics (A level),
-A in Chemistry (A level),
-13 straight A*/A (GCSE) (including Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology)
-Gold certificate (UK British Mathematics Challenge),
Prior teaching experience:
Previously, had prior experience as a teaching assistant for a Year 7/8 Mathematics class. Have also done language exchange (English/Chinese) where I often had to correct/advise on the correct english grammar/vocabulary.
Being previously tutored myself in Mathematics, I understand the difficulties and struggles of students in classes at school and the benefits tuition can have if done effectively. Therefore, I will strive to do the same for anyone in the future.

I will tailor teaching according to the student's specific syllabus, go through any questions students may have already from class, and then set past paper/textbook exercises to go through between sessions with the option to email questions during the week. Anything that I am unsure of, I will try to find the answer and get back to them during the week.
