About James
I'm currently studying Film and Moving Image Production at Norwich University of the Arts. However, I've just completed a 'gap year' in which I was a Volunteer Learning Mentor, for an organisation called City Year. This role involved guiding school children aged from 7, up to those preparing for their end of year SATs exams. It was a year which I'll never forget and have gained much appreciation for opportunities to teach and mentor young people.

My methodology for teaching routes from the experience I gained while working as Learning Mentor for City Year. As I guide students through their topics of struggle, I'll attempt to understand how and why certain areas get them caught up, as to gain their perspective of the subject. Through this method we're able to progress through the topic together, whilst at a pace they can comfortably work at.
