About Yiding
Hi! I'm Yiding from China. I have a Master's degree in TESOL from USC and experience in teaching and tutoring Mandarin Chinese in Los Angeles. I design individualized lesson plans based on student's interests and needs. I can help you with your listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I can also teach you traditional Chinese calligraphy if you are interested. I am good at personalizing lesson plans based on students' interests and needs. My lesson plan usually includes warm-up, cultural or background introduction, vocabulary, games (to enhance memory and word application), and output (e.g. Making posters, role play, show and tell, etc.). I always combine various learning activities with cultural learning in the tutoring session. I have a great passion for language teaching and I enjoy working with students of all ages and Chinese proficiency levels.
