About Harry
Hi! I’m Harry, a passionate Chinese language enthusiast and non-native speaker with a deep love for Mandarin and language learning. I first started learning Chinese in 2020 when I started my BA in Chinese at Cardiff University, and since then, it’s become a huge part of my life. I know what it’s like to learn Mandarin from scratch, which helps me connect with students and explain things in a way that truly makes sense. Over the years, I’ve graduated, passed HSK exams and most importantly lived, studied and travelled in China, Taiwan and Singapore. My goal is to make learning Chinese enjoyable, approachable, and tailored to your individual needs. I offer lessons for: Beginners GCSE students Conversational practice Specialty needs e.g. Business Chinese, Travel, or even learning about Chinese Culture! Let’s make learning Chinese fun, relaxed, and rewarding. I’d love to be part of your language journey!
