About Rachel
Hi, I’m Rachel! I’m a proud student at Ed W. Clark High School in the Academy of Math, Science, and Technology, where I’ve taken on the challenge of 14 AP courses to push myself academically. My passion for learning extends beyond my own studies—I’ve also worked as a tutor for the Clark County School District, helping students in a variety of subjects, including math, science, and English. With years of experience, I’ve developed a teaching style that’s patient, adaptable, and focused on building confidence. I understand how overwhelming academics can feel, so I strive to break down tough concepts and make them approachable. Whether you’re prepping for an AP exam, tackling a challenging class, or just looking for extra support, I’m here to help you succeed. When it comes to tutoring, my goal is simple: help you feel confident in what you’re learning and make the process as straightforward as possible. No gimmicks, no fluff—just figuring out how you learn best and working with that. I’m not about throwing fancy terms or endless theory at you. I keep things practical. If something isn’t clicking, we’ll find a new way to approach it until it does. I like to explain concepts in plain language, using examples that actually make sense in real life. Once you’ve got the basics down, we’ll build from there.
Mistakes are part of the process, and honestly, they’re usually the best way to learn. I’ll never rush you or make you feel bad if you don’t get something right away—been there, done that.
