About Khadija
I have completed the required training to serve as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children, and I am also a Registered Behavior Technician with professional experience supporting children in building communication, behavioral, social, and self-advocacy skills.
I am currently completing my bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. My college coursework has also included Child Psychology, Psychology 101, and Communication, all of which have strengthened my understanding of child development, behavior, communication, and how children learn to express themselves effectively.
Together, my advocacy training, behavioral background, and academic experience help me create lessons that are structured, encouraging, and practical. I especially enjoy helping children build confidence, communicate clearly, handle difficult situations, and practice speaking up for themselves in respectful and age-appropriate ways.

I help children build the confidence and communication skills they need to speak up for themselves in everyday situations\. Lessons are interactive, supportive, and tailored to the learner’s age and needs\.
We use short stories, discussion, age\-appropriate writing activities, modeling, and role\-play to practice real\-life skills such as setting boundaries, handling peer pressure, resolving conflicts, asking for help, speaking respectfully to adults, expressing needs clearly, and using a confident voice\.
My goal is not simply to tell children what to say, but to help them practice saying it until they feel more comfortable using those skills independently\.
My approach is informed by my experience working with children in advocacy\-focused settings and as a Registered Behavior Technician, where I use positive reinforcement, prompting, modeling, repetition, and skill\-building strategies\.
Lessons are educational and skills\-based and are not therapy, counseling, or behavioral treatment\.
