About Lila
My fascination with chess began through a love of strategy and complex problem-solving. This interest eventually led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and later a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies. During my 12 years of teaching experience, I have worked with beginners, club players, and competitive students seeking structured improvement.
I believe effective coaching requires patience, clarity, and a deep understanding of how people learn. My teaching style focuses on helping students recognize patterns, evaluate positions, and develop confidence in their own decision-making. I enjoy tailoring lessons to suit each learner’s strengths and ambitions.
Outside coaching, I regularly analyze games, study modern opening trends, and follow international chess events. These activities help me keep lessons relevant and engaging. Supporting students as they develop stronger strategic thinking and greater confidence continues to make teaching chess incredibly rewarding.

My chess lessons focus on helping students understand the deeper ideas behind successful play. We explore opening fundamentals, tactical combinations, positional concepts, endgame techniques, calculation skills, and game analysis through structured learning and practical examples. I emphasize understanding rather than memorization so students can make stronger decisions independently.
As players improve, lessons include advanced planning, candidate move selection, tournament preparation, time management, and psychological aspects of competition. Every session is adapted to the student's current level and goals. Through guided analysis and focused exercises, learners develop stronger decision-making habits and greater confidence.
I encourage students to view chess as both a competitive challenge and a valuable learning experience. The game develops concentration, patience, discipline, and logical thinking. My goal is to help learners become more thoughtful and confident players while enjoying every stage of their chess journey.
