I achieved a first class in my first year of uni. I aim to help others to achieve their ideal grades in the subjects they are studying. I understand the most effective techniques for improvement, having increased all of my grades by at least 1 from AS to A2.

Hi, I am a 2nd year MSci chemistry student at the Univeristy of Nottingham. I mainly tutor GCSE maths and all three sciences but am happy to help at all levels. I believe in finding the learning style that works best for each student as everyone has their own way of understanding the world. In terms of structure, I firstly aim to give understanding of the subject content, focusing on building confidence in the areas they are struggling with. Once the student has this confidence, I teach them how to apply this effectively to get the best grade possible. This important as exam technique changes through education levels, which takes getting used to.
