About Natalie
My goal as a tutor is to make you more comfortable with the material so that maybe one day you can enjoy the material as I do. I want to spread the knowledge to help students excel in whatever topic they’re learning in order to increase interest in the sciences, particularly chemistry! But if I can’t inspire a true passion for the material, the least I can do is help get you through those tough concepts. :)

My approach to tutoring is to hone in on the concepts that the student has the most trouble on, and not wasting as much time going over the things that come easier to them, then working our way back to those easier concepts to review. I like to give the students patience on my end in exchange for their hard work and focus on the other end. A typical lesson could goin one of a few ways depending on the students learning style. We generally would start by discussing the most confusing topics and work through examples and discuss the underlying principles to get a deeper understanding of the material. I mainly focus on high school and college level general chemistry curriculum.
