If you're looking for answers or memorizing terms and definitions, I am NOT the tutor you want. If you really want to know, to understand and how to figure things out on your own, then I'm the kind of tutor who can help guide you. I'm familiar with every major publisher and may already have your textbook on hand.
I always come prepared and will answer your questions, but you need to solve the problems and do the work. I won't hold your hand, but will show you how to do it correctly, and you will retain what you learn. That's the guarantee I make.
I have tutored for medical school, pharmacy school, nursing, genetics, genomics physical, organic and analytical chemistry. I worked in the chemical field for 30 years and have always helped people learn more. Some students have liked the practice tests I provide before they go into an exam.
I'm retired and have a pretty flexible schedule.

Good results come from clear communication, goal setting and preparation. A good tutor learns from their client, the student. Guiding them to understand concepts and questions, identify what needs to be solved, gather and analyze date, apply information using formulas, reactions and other pertinent details.
Then they can begin to solve the problem. This also applies to lab work. Chemistry is not hard, but it is detailed. It's requires a commitment to build on basic knowledge and to grow in understanding. Once we understand how things are connected, the light bulb comes on faster. To understand chemistry, is to understand what the fundamental questions of living things, to what's below us and what's way out in the cosmos. It's worth it!
