About John
I have a BA degree in chemistry and biology education from the University of North Alabama and an MA in chemistry education from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. I taught for 25 years in the Huntsville, AL school system, for 4 years at Mars Hill Bible School in Florence, AL and am currently teaching at St. John Paul II Catholic High School in Huntsville, AL.

My teaching method is very student-centered. I give a lot of examples and am not afraid to try several different methods within the same lesson in order to get each student to understand. It is my job as a tutor to get each student to understand both basic and more difficult concepts.
