About Joanna
Hello, my name is Joanna and I am a recent Chemistry graduate from Loughborough University. I have undergone teacher training in a secondary school and it has given me valuable classroom experience and a strong understanding of how to support students with different learning styles.
I am passionate about making maths and science engaging and accessible, to boost your confidence, improve your grades, or prepare for exams. I focus on breaking down concepts into simple, understandable steps and creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy a range of creative hobbies including painting and crochet, and I play netball regularly.

I can help you prepare for exams, complete homework assignments and general revision and learning.
I specialise in building confidence in KS2 & KS3 students and preparing for GCSE success.
I use a variety of teaching methodologies. This includes teaching content and using activities and demonstrations to allow the child to become more independent. I blend the learner's personality with the student's needs.
