About Divyansh
I am student who has just finished my A levels ( Maths, Biology and Chemistry) this summer. I have been tutoring students my age or younger for about three years now (since 2018). I have taught two year 11 students on a one on one basis for several months at sixth form and prior to that had taught 8 KS3 students in a group setting. My students were able to achieve their academic targets for the year, with some even exceeding their target grades. I aspire to become a nuclear engineer in the future and hopefully get to study chemical engineering at Cambridge next year.

My teaching style is quite interactive with several questions at the end of each topic to integrate active recall in my sessions. Normally, in a 60 min lesson I would firstly start of with giving a 5-10 min starter activity based on past knowledge and then check the students level of knowledge of the topic. Then the majority of the lesson (30 -35 mins) will be a presentation/ or me teaching about the topic. Lastly, the remaining time will be used to specifically answer exam styled questions, as I believe in order to get A/A*s, students need to know what the question is actually asking and the way examiners word the questions.
