About Katie
I’m doing a MSci in Chemistry and have been tutoring for 4 years helping students from KS3 all the way up to A-level. Tend to use lots of diagrams to help explain different concepts and make sure to include exam question practice so pupils can understand the key words and phrases examiners like to hear and improve exam technique.

So I start my lessons with a relaxed conversation getting a feel for my students strengths and weaknesses. Once we have identified some areas they find difficult, I teach the topic often using diagrams as I find it’s easier to convey and remember information. We will finish the session with some exam questions on the topic covered to reaffirm knowledge and make sure we understand the key points the examiner is looking for.
