About Rosie
I am a chemistry student at university, I have a passion for all things science. This passion means I am enthusiastic about being able to help students deepen their understanding of the subject whether it be for general interest or academic help. In the past, I have tutored students of all ages to help them with many skills from basic reading to complex chemistry. I believe in using creative resources to help with understanding, and learning should be more than just listening to someone talk; it should be engaging, interactive and FUN! Therefore, I would tailor my style of teaching to each individual student and how they learn best.

Lessons are aimed at secondary school students of all year groups. I like to make a goal with the student and work together to break this into smaller, more manageable goals. I would encourage active participation through guided practice and using real-life examples to make abstract ideas more understandable. I’d also provide constructive feedback and celebrate progress, ensuring students feel motivated and confident. Lesson length: 30 mins - 1hr 30 min. I have experience working with kids of all ages in many environments, ranging from a teaching role to a coaching role.
