About SHALU

Hi! I'm Shalu, and I hold a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Chemistry from St. Joseph's College, Devagiri. During my academic journey, I also had the opportunity to work as a Research Intern at Nottingham Trent University, UK, where I developed a deeper appreciation for scientific thinking and problem-solving.

I've always enjoyed explaining concepts to others, and that's what inspired me to start teaching. I understand that Chemistry can feel confusing when it's taught as a subject to memorize. My aim is to make it logical, relatable, and interesting by breaking down complex ideas into simple explanations that students can easily understand.

I believe every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand their pace and adapt my teaching accordingly. I encourage questions, create a comfortable learning environment, and focus on building strong fundamentals rather than rote learning. Whether you're preparing for school exams, board exams, or simply want to improve your understanding of Chemistry, I'm here to help you learn with confidence.

My goal is not only to help you score better but also to make Chemistry a subject you genuinely enjoy learning.

About the lesson

Chemistry can seem difficult at first, but I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can understand and enjoy it. My goal is not just to help students score well in exams, but to make them genuinely understand why concepts work the way they do.

I keep my classes interactive and encourage students to ask as many questions as they want. A typical lesson starts with a quick recap of the previous topic, followed by clear explanations using simple examples and everyday analogies. We then solve practice questions together and spend time clearing any doubts before moving on.

Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit their pace and level of understanding. I focus on building a strong foundation, which makes learning advanced topics much easier and boosts confidence.

My classes are ideal for school students, especially those preparing for board exams or competitive exams, as well as anyone who wants to strengthen their understanding of chemistry from the basics.
