About Ewan
I am passionate about Chemistry and enjoy passing on this enthusiasm and drive to the students I teach. I aim to make my sessions something they look forward to and engage with. I always spend the start of the first session discussing the student's learning style, and mapping out their "road-to-success".

My academic path has given me a deep understanding of core chemical principles, as well as how they connect across topics and exam specifications. I aim to help students move beyond memorisation to genuinely understand why things work, which often leads to improved confidence and deeper interest.
I deliver my lessons with the intention of being able to apply everything taught in the real world; using real world examples and maintaining strong use case for all material. I find this approach keeps the student interested and engaged, often finding they have a newfound interest in the subject once they are made aware of the many possibilities.
I have ongoing links with Leicester University and can offer advice and support to prepare students for university life. I can provide guidance with my students UCAS applications, covering letters, interview skills and CV writing.
