About Devyani

I am a Chemistry tutor with 9 years of teaching experience and degrees in B.Sc Chemistry and M.Sc Inorganic Chemistry. My academic journey allowed me to explore both theoretical chemistry and structured problem-solving, giving me the tools to explain complex topics clearly. I have guided students at different academic levels, helping them build confidence and accuracy in Chemistry.

My teaching approach emphasizes patience and clarity. I encourage students to understand the “why” behind reactions rather than memorizing equations. By adapting explanations to individual learning styles, I ensure every student feels supported and capable of progress.

Outside teaching, I stay engaged with scientific literature and applied chemistry topics. Teaching Chemistry is meaningful to me because I witness learners grow from confusion to confidence. Supporting students as they develop clarity, curiosity, and scientific discipline is the most rewarding part of my career.

About the lesson

Chemistry lessons focus on helping students understand how chemical principles govern reactions and material behavior. I begin with strong foundations in atomic structure, periodic trends, bonding, and chemical equations to ensure clarity from the start. As learners progress, lessons expand into stoichiometry, thermodynamics, acids and bases, equilibrium systems, and reaction kinetics. Advanced learners work on complex numerical problems, analytical reasoning, and conceptual integration across topics. Each lesson balances explanation, calculation practice, and conceptual discussion.

I emphasize logical sequencing and understanding before memorization. Concepts are broken into manageable steps, supported by diagrams, examples, and structured calculations. Students are encouraged to ask questions freely and reflect on their reasoning. Lessons are customized to academic goals, whether school exams, competitive preparation, or foundational mastery.

Chemistry strengthens analytical thinking, precision, and scientific curiosity. As students gain clarity, they approach problems with confidence and independence. My goal is to make Chemistry logical, approachable, and intellectually empowering.
