About Yekta
I want to teach because I genuinely believe education changes lives. I understand how overwhelming subjects like Maths and Science can feel, especially under exam pressure, and I want to help students move from confusion to confidence. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student grasp a topic they once found difficult and realise they are capable of achieving more than they thought. I am patient, professional, and committed to high standards in every lesson. I prepare thoroughly, tailor sessions to each student’s needs, and create a supportive environment where questions are always encouraged. My goal is not only to improve grades, but to build independent learners who feel confident approaching any problem.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, structured, and results-focused. I begin by identifying each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and goals, then create a personalised plan to target gaps in understanding while building confidence. I use active recall, exam-style practice questions, and step-by-step explanations to ensure students fully understand concepts rather than memorising content. I also emphasise exam technique, time management, and structured answers to maximise marks. I have strong academic experience in Maths and Science subjects and a deep understanding of exam board requirements. My lessons are ideal for GCSE (Maths and Chemistry) and A-Level (Chemistry only) students who want to improve grades, build confidence, and achieve top results.
