About Keegan
My name is Keegan Everitt, I am currently a chemistry major at the University of South Alabama. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring and teaching students in physical sciences. Science explains why things happen and why we use to math to model these outcomes with certainty. As a student I have aspirations to move forward with my education and become a professor at a university some day.

As a teacher I base my relationship with my students off of mutual respect. I want to know my students beyond the obvious that they need some additional help on their course material. I typically spend a large portion of the lesson discussing the fundamental science or theory behind the material. I believe this is where the true learning happens, understanding why we answer a problem in a specific way is 75% of the battle. The remainder of the lesson will be working on problems/idea together talking about each step of the process.
Being a student I understand that lesson plans need to be tailored to the specific needs of students and this is accomplished as I learn how the student learns and where the emphasis of help is needed.
High school and college students who need help building a fundamental basis of chemistry or math are encouraged to reach out.
