About Kayce
In 2003 I received a bachelor's degree in chemistry with a biology minor. In 2005 I graduated with a Master's degree in physical polymer chemistry. Since then, I have been a chemistry instructor at large community college just south of Memphis. I have taught lecture and lab courses in general chemistry, organic chemistry, principles of chemistry, and physical science.

I love science in general and have a passion for helping others understand challenging material like what is often found in a chemistry textbook. Students generally appreciate and benefit from my teaching style because I am enthusiastic to show them the concepts that excite me so much. If necessary, I will explain a topic as many different ways as it takes to lead a student to that "light bulb" moment when it all finally clicks. I choose to tailor my explanations to each individual student, so I am certain to not be speaking on a level that is far over their heads.
